Abstract
The markets have been established as strategic points of population agglomeration within the cities of the commercial, architectural, urban and social aspects, forming as living history in a positive way for commerce and in a negative way for the urban development of cities. In the city of Quevedo, the markets are part of the beginnings of the city, the same ones that have shown variability compared to the oldest and most recent commercial activity, Quevedo has two markets in the center of the city, the same ones that supply the city and in turn they cause vehicular and pedestrian congestion and disorganization in the urban fabric of the sector
