Systematic analysis of intellectual capital, an invisible capital in schools
Main Article Content
Abstract
We are currently living in a pandemic time in which education has had to face a greater challenge in terms of managing its intellectual capital due to the accelerated implementation of the distance mode, forcing educational institutions to use with greater diligence and intensity their tangible and intangible resources, managing both their human, structural and relational capital and creating new knowledge through the use of technologies. Objective. The purpose is to find out how the concepts and processes of intellectual capital are currently being incorporated in educational institutions and whether or not research exists in the field of basic education. Materials and methods. The systemic analysis method was used, with a sample of 50 articles, selected from four databases Scopus, Ebsco, Scielo, Redalyc. Results. It was found that there are more publications on intellectual capital in the field of business management than in the field of education. Conclusion. It is concluded that there is very little research on intellectual capital in schools, being an invisible capital that should be studied and disseminated because it is an important intangible asset in the generation of knowledge
